Nothing tastes as good as a homemade meal and for over 55 years Bronte Fish & Chips has been cooking the best fish and chips using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. The popular, family-friendly restaurant serves fresh halibut, cod, and haddock and fresh-cut fries made daily from local potatoes. You might want to try the fresh mushrooms, onion rings or shrimp dipped in their homemade batter. For dessert, how about the delicious homemade cherry cheesecake or chocolate brownie with ice cream? The customers love that they can place an order and know that it will be made fast and fresh.
There have been lots of changes in Bronte over the last 55 years, many restaurants have come and gone since Bronte Fish & Chips first opened their doors in 1968. May 2023 marks the 55th anniversary of this family-run restaurant, which specializes in classic, British-style fish and chips for both dine-in and take-out. They’ve won the Readers’ Choice Diamond – 1st place award 12 years in a row for Best Fish & Chips in Oakville as well as Best Seafood and Best French Fries.

Other delicious menu items include shrimp dinner, scallop dinner, clam dinner, seafood platter, chicken fingers, homemade battered mushrooms, mushy peas, and their freshly-made coleslaw and macaroni salad which are a customer favourite.
